Kluizelaar is a visual performance about a mini-house. The occupant is not at home. But we can hear him... About being alone and coming home.

There is a square. Is it a house? Sound is coming out of it. What is happening inside? A flap opens. Is there something inside? What is in it? Who is inside?

Simone de Jong Company's performances are characterized by their imagination, humor and inventiveness. Images, sound and movement are the basis for touching, challenging and inspiring children. Previously played Eiland, WalvisJong, Timtim en (Flamenco) Fluisterstad. Kluizelaar travels the world as Hermit with great success.

About Simone de Jong
Simone de Jong herself comes from modern mime and musical theater and is also a children's book author. She wrote Het geheim van meneer Hartjes (Clavis, 2016) and Op zoek naar het groene goud (Clavis, 2021).
